Why We Built This Site
Public access in Wisconsin is broad, but court records do not sit in one database. Wisconsin Circuit Court Access provides public case summaries for Brown County Circuit Court. The Brown County Clerk of Circuit Courts keeps official circuit files, minutes, orders, and docketing records. The Register in Probate/Juvenile Clerk manages probate, guardianship, commitment, and juvenile materials subject to their access rules. Green Bay, De Pere/Ledgeview, and other municipal courts keep their own ordinance and citation records. This site organizes those official routes so a reader can start with the right custodian.
What You Will Find Here
- Record requests: requesting Brown County court case records, plain copies, and certified copies from the proper clerk
- Docket searches: reading criminal court dockets and civil court dockets through WCCA
- Dates and settings: using the court schedule and confirming a live hearing with the assigned branch
- Name and number searches: running a docket search with Wisconsin's public case-information system
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, with no affiliation to Brown County, any Wisconsin court, or any government agency. Its role is limited:
- We cannot issue a certified docket, order, or filed document.
- We cannot alter, seal, remove, or correct a Brown County case.
- We cannot reset a hearing or change a court date.
- We cannot retrieve an official case file on a reader's behalf.
- We cannot provide legal advice about a specific matter.
- We cannot promise that a fee, contact, or setting has not changed.
An official or certified Brown County court record must come from the clerk or court that maintains the original. This site can identify that source but cannot issue the document.
